The BC Film Commission at Creative BC delivers support and resources to both the motion picture industry and the communities, stakeholders and various partners that contribute to its longevity.

From development support to international trade fair presence, our programs and activities aim to: optimize funding opportunities for projects and companies; grow B.C.’s ecosystem of support in which creative entrepreneurs can thrive; and give B.C.’s creative industries access to the national supports and international markets that will increase our province’s success in the sector.

Creative BC is an economic development agency supporting B.C.’s creative sector to reach its economic, social, environmental, and creative potential at home and globally. From development support to international trade fair presence, our programs and activities aim to: optimize funding opportunities for projects and companies; grow B.C.’s ecosystem of support in which creative entrepreneurs can thrive; and give B.C.’s creative industries access to the national supports and international markets that will increase our province’s success in the sector. We provide distinct programs by for each industry as well as travel support, delegation funding, presence at international markets and more to increase awareness and act as a catalyst for the production of B.C.-based intellectual property.

The services below are grant-eligible: CanExport and EDC reimburse up to 50% for incorporated Canadian exporters.
