Stream 2
Yukon businesses that can demonstrate direct negative impacts on their operations caused by U.S. tariffs or Canadian countermeasures
$1 million Yukon program created to support businesses facing challenges caused by U.S. trade decisions and Canadian countermeasures, and to help the Yukon economy adapt to changing trade conditions. Three streams: Stream 1 funds industry organizations (buy or invest local campaigns, specialist workshops); Stream 2 provides financial support to individual businesses that can demonstrate direct negative impacts from U.S. tariffs or Canadian countermeasures (Tier 1 up to $10,000, Tier 2 up to $50,000) to implement adaptation plans; Stream 3 funds directly commissioned trade-related projects. A key objective is to reduce Yukon's reliance on U.S. markets.
